Alright, I've been reading a bunch of discussions and after 3 days of fixing, I'm fed up that it's still not working, so I'm gonna ask by myself.
The issue
So, I wanted to get back at GD a few days ago. It installed perfectly fine and I faced something strange. GD was running and not opening. Steam detects the game is running, but it lasts 3 seconds and disappear. The 'Preparing to launch GD...' window shows up, and disappear as well. Nothing in the task manager either.
What I did
From there I have made a bunch of things, trying to fix that issue. None worked.
• Resinstalling (deleting every single GD related file) • Verifying game files (some .dll files were missing, added them myself) • Updating Windows 10 • Updating drivers and directX • Run as administrator • Run in compatibility mode • Windowed start
Btw, I don't have the Geometry Dash folder in AppData\Local so it is not caused by the .dat files. Also, when I added the missing .dll files, a new error was popping up : 0xc000007b. But as I told you earlier, everything is up to date. And I did the sfc /scannow command in the cmd, and no error shew up.
Fascinating fact is that it worked perfectly fine before (like a few months ago). And other games run normally without issue.
My specs
I use an ASUS laptop with Windows 10 Pro (64 bit).
RAM : 4 GB Processor : AMD E2-6110 APU Graphic : AMD Radeon R2 Graphics 1,5 GHz (4CPUs)
(Btw, I checked, and I meet the requirements.)
If you have any solution, please tell me. Thanks for reading and for your eventual help!

I know how to fix that, I had that problem a while ago. you have to go download opengl32.dll and put it in the game files. I hope it helped!

Make sure to read the rules before posting again: gdforum.freeforums.net/page/rules This thread is around 3 years old and the creator hasn't been online in a long time, so it's kinda useless to respond now even though you are being helpful. I'd suggest checking how long it's been since the last post on a thread before posting yourself; bumping old threads all the time makes it less likely for active users who need help now to get their threads seen. Locking thread.
