So this other day I was scrolling through my resource files thinking about what to do with them when I came across a file called RobotAnimDesc.plist or something like that. I thought that that was probably the thing that effects the robot animation (and I was right). So I thought, yeah I'm just gonna throw this in the trash since the fire effect whenever you jump makes me want to puke and is one of the reasons why I don't play robot levels. So I deleted it and the game CRASHES.
So my question is how to remove the boost thing when you jump as the robot.

As far as I know you can't remove this from only one vehicle (in your case, the robot). But there is a way to fix it. Go in your GD folder via steam ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Geometry Dash). Open the Resources folder and look for a file named dragEffect.plist. Open it with any software that allows you to edit a text file. Once there, find these parts : Set the number between the integer to 0. Save it and relaunch the game. That's how to fix it (and the only way I know).
/!\ Warning : this will disable the particles when clicking from ALL the vehicles.
