This is certainly not rate worthy, which may be sad to hear as you seem to have a lot of confidence that it is.
The gameplay: The gameplay, in short, is unfun, inconsistent, and impossible to sightread, with numerous blind jumps and invisible portals that catch the player off guard. This makes the level disastrously unenjoyable, and overall, ruins the experience entirely. I won’t go over sync because, truthfully, I am unable to play this level on normal mode without having borderline heart palpitations when I am unfairly killed by an aforementioned blind jump.
The design: Basic, unpolished, and extremely empty in some parts. It’s obvious that you wanted to go for a Danolex style, so you went with the “old Danolex” ground spikes and thick block outlines in some places. You also stuck in some effects that resemble what you may see in some of his modern levels, but we’ll get to that later. For now, let us analyze the design piece by piece.
Block design: Generic. They started off rather meh, with a base block design, usually of the automatically set colour, and a pulsing thick outline, but quickly depleted into into nothing but bricks, and eventually, nothing but black. The depletion is overt, which leads me to believe that you got a bit too lazy to continue the initial block quality.
Air decoration: Practically nonexistent. Carry on.
Background design/effects: There are 5 in this level: 1. Rather simple but decently inventive 2. Pleasing to look at and compliments the bland foreground nicely 3. Simple, but gives a nice feel. 4. Sadly, the colours don’t match up at all with the foreground and the circle that was copy and pasted throughout the entire thing wasn’t correct. 5. I appreciate your attempt at a captivating drop effect, but overall this proved to be a flop as multiple grouping, design and visual errors become apparent from a quick glance.
Consensus: Overall, this level was poorly made, but I do not believe that this single review should discourage you. You have the potential to become a good creator, and this is apparent through your basic understanding of... you know... what a level should be. If you take inspiration from modern design/effect levels (like Wixers/modern Danolex), keep experimenting with your designs and improve your gameplay, you could become a creator worthy of the rewards that they have received. Keep motivated.
