3-D game: Super Mario Odyssey's final boss + ending 2-D game: If New Super Mario Bros. Wii counts as a 2-D since there's no z-axis movement then the final boss in that game. If not, then I guess World 1-1 from the original game since I don't know any other ones lol.

3D: Probably the Ocean Kingdom from Super Mario Odyssey 2D: The epic Wiggler level (7-2 I think) in New Super Mario Bros (DS version). However, there are many levels that I thoroughly enjoyed but this ones the most memorable to me. Other examples would be stuff like the levels from the Secret World in Super Mario World, 6-3 in New Super Mario Bros Wii or even 1-1 in Super Mario Bros 3

2D: Probably 8-7 from NSMBWii because it's such a cool idea to have Mario riding on a rollercoaster for the whole level and have to jump around everywhere, even moving to different coasters, while everything around him burns and sets on lava.
3D: Tick Tock Clock from SM64 is such a cool idea. It is conventional for a Mario level theme, it is very spacious with lots of obstacles to traverse over, and I love the idea of being able to make everything move quickly, slowly, not at all, and even randomly. I could probably come up with one I like more if I tried hard enough, but meh.

2d: the super mario maker stage is pretty original, although it gets really boring when you turn omega on. honestly, just choose final destination.
3d: ive never played double dash, but its rainbow road looks pretty good. (double dash 2 when) eeh well i mean there was that really cool clock one in ds

2D: Probably similar to Joltik, I loved the rollercoaster level in NSMB Wii. The game in general had levels with some unique gimmicks.
3D: Hard to tell because I haven't played a lot of 3D Mario games but I like how for example the Mario Galaxy games have levels that are nods to older games like SM64.
