Hey there,
I used to play on mobile, but I recently got a gaming laptop.
Problem 1: I experience choppy gameplay sometimes. I have a 144 hz monitor, and about every 3 seconds I will see a small frame jump. I don't understand why this is happening, as I believe that my specs definitely meet the requirements for Geometry Dash. Here are my specs:
Intel i7-8750H @ 2.20 GHz Nvidia GTX 1070 with Max-Q 16 gigs of ram
When I play, I enable the steam FPS counter. It shows a consistent 144 frames at all times. When the frame jump happens, it will lower to 142-143. This happens on all levels, no matter the amount of detail.
Problem 2: Recording is choppy. Because I have a GTX, I use Shadowplay to record. However, the recording is laggy. When I right click on the finished recording and go to properties, the details say that it is 60.00 frames per second. However, when viewing the recording, it is very obvious that it is not 60 frames. The gameplay is very choppy.
Thanks for any help.

For problem 2, not all videos have a consistent frame rate so I assume the frame rate property is actually the highest frame rate in the video.
