This goes against the idea of what a daily or weekly level is meant to be. A daily level is meant specifically for one day, while a weekly demon is specifically meant for one week. It’s not a permanent stamp as soon as it receives daily or weekly. It gives players the opportunity to receive bonus rewards on that day or week alone, not a long time benefit.

Beating a daily/weekly level is really a reward for taking time out of your day to go onto gd. Having the ability to go back to other dailies/weeklies ruins the purpose of what its meant to be.

For the people saying its not what daily means: yes, its for new levels daily, but the main issue is that, it punishes new players by not even giving them the chance to play the previous ones. if you haven't been playing the game regularly since late 2.0, then you clearly are scum. those stars that other players got, you can't get. also, daily could just mean that a new level is added to it daily, you don't only have one day to beat the level, the only way to go to the most recent one is by either skipping it, or beating it. another problem there, since if you take more than a day to beat a level, or if you take a single day off of gd, you cant get the other ones. you are being punished for not being an addict and playing everyday for years. this system needs to be fixed. New idea: how about, to make everyone happy, you can only get the diamonds on the day that the level was added, that way, it rewards the dedicated players who can play everyday, but diamonds are less valuable than stars, so its not to bad for new players. It doesn’t give you stars, that’s correct. Daily levels are meant to be incentive to go online and beat the level. If you miss a day, you’re simply out of luck. Also diamonds only isn’t the worst idea, but diamonds lose all of their value after the achievements for them are obtained, so it doesn’t help that much.

I agree that having daily levels / weekly demons giving you stars that you cannot get anywhere else is a little bit much. For those of you who say that it is a reward for people coming on every day to play those levels, while that is true, I think that 1) Coming on everyday to actually get the abundance of other levels done and improving your skills is reward enough, and 2) Daily chests serve this purpose to a much lesser extent. I would also say that if you actually do try to get as many of them done as possible, they can be very distracting since they have time constraints especially if you are trying to beat / create other levels at the time. While I do also see it from the other side, having a daily / weekly level without a good reward essentially would serve no purpose. My suggestion would to be have some sort of a way to beat these levels to get the bonus stars without having to have a streak of no missed days. I would say it could work either of two ways, both of which involve unlocking a roadmap (Basically it would be setup like a gauntlet, except with many more levels, and could be split of into sections such as Days 1-10, 11-20, Weeks 1-3, etc. ), that you would be able to do and get the extra stars / silver coins (which is another problem seeing as you can't redo levels if you claimed it and missed coins). The first way to unlock the roadmaps would be to have beaten a certain amount of daily and weekly levels to unlock the daily and weekly roadmaps respectively. So for example say to unlock the Daily Roadmap you need to have beaten 15 daily levels, and to unlock the weekly roadmap, you need to have done 3 weekly demons. The second way to unlock it would be to have a set amount of stars to unlock the roadmap so that only people who actually are serious about getting a lot of stars can unlock them. You could perhaps set it at 5,000 stars for the daily, and 10,000 stars for the weekly (very quick estimates, definitely can be changed). If you have anything to say to me, please do. Again, I'm not really biased on this, I just do think that having stars locked behind time restraints is a bit of a problem and should have atleast some way of fixing it. I hope you enjoyed my suggestions!

You should be able to view previous daily levels but not get the rewards.

is it really a bad thing that there's lost stars when there's always more levels getting rated?

the easiest way to fix this is to allow people with more than 20k stars (or some other arbitrarily large amount) to access and beat previous dailies for stars, that way stargrinders can be on a level playing field while still maintaining the necessary punctuality to make dailies worth visiting

Idk what to call it. but this is my idea: once you move on to the new daily/weekly, all other levels before are gone. you can't play them. lots of lost stars. especially for people who got the game after daily levels were added. so the "Daily watch" will take the form of a clock on the upper-right hand corner of the level card. when you click it, it will pull up a list of every daily/weekly that has come before. then you can play them. it would be a useful tool for newer star-grinders. wait I think I know you
