Hey so I have a gtx 1060 6gb and an i7 7700hq and 16gb of ddr4 ram, but levels with objects over 200k still make my game crash (microsoft visual c++ runtime error something) Does anyone has any fix for this? I feel like gd has restricted access to the resources of the pc, seeing as it never crosses 50% usage of any component I have. Sorry if this is the wrong section, please move to the right one if thats the case.

This should go on the support board. I would tag mods but I'm kinda scared lol
My 2 year old laptop can easily open glowy in the editor (270k objects), and I can play the most densely deco'd part with only about 25% GPU usage, and less than 10% CPU usage. My GPU is a MX150, and my CPU is an i7-8700K. RAM is probably not an issue.
Do you have the _CommonRedist folder in your game files? If it's something about a Visual runtime error, the only thing related to VS i could find was the vsredist folder. The problem's probably something surrounding that.
If you're really desperate, try uninstalling and reinstall GD.

Moved to Game Support.
Also yeah, GD is a game that doesn't really use much of your computer's power which kinda sucks. I personally can load levels with a high object count (I managed to open Dark Travel in the editor easily), so maybe it's a matter of the object density? What levels were you opening? Was it a long level like Dark Travel or a short-ish one such as God Eater?

Im practicing Idols which has around 250k objects, and sometimes save&play after i set startpos makes the game crash as I mentioned. I've found that save&exit and then play causes no issues, but it sucks knowing my pc could easily handle it with no problems had gd had access to more resources

It used to be a big problem in 2.1 but 2.11 partially fixed it. I suggest enabling the LDM or removing some decoration if you want to practice with a start pos.
