Before April Fool's 2019 comes to EST, a repost of the rules laid out last year: April Fool's is not an excuse to break severe forum rules like mass spam/necroposting, posting racist or nsfw content, or engaging in malicious activity. However, the rule on useless posts will be lightened, although threads tagged "Serious" will remain serious. The Nonsense Lounge will also remain open with its usual rules. That being said, there is no obligation to visit the forum on this particular day of the year. If you don't want to see the forum in its altered state, come back the next day and everything will be back to normal. This will be my fourth time experiencing it (loving Retired moderator. 's theme already), so a warm welcome to everyone here for the first time. 
i will be posting some random forum/staff-related meme that i've collected in the past 4.5 years in this thread once in a while so stay tuned |

Hello gamer bois and gamer grils! RedGayley14 here, and today I will be explaining the ALLURE of GDFORUMS and why April Fools Day matters. In a concise sentence, it's hectic. But one sentence can't really describe the entirety of April Fools Day on happy GMD Forums. Shall we delve in deeper? So first off, what will you see? Well, there are some things you don't want answered, and that's a question you CERTAINLY don't want to know the answer to. You will see a lot of things that make no sense today. Yesterday's Gangums and Blazes will be today's Spaghetti heads and Burgers or whatever the fuck he thinks he is. Your eyes, which might have already been melted enough with the previous Default theme, will be burnt to a CRISP by a beautiful new theme that you HAVE to use. You will see a LOT of announcements, most amounting to nothing. So-and-so is leaving, so what? It's April Fools. We know you are BSing us. Not only that, but some might be true. Members will leave. Members will join. Everyone will complain. Everyone will suffer Now here's some tips to survive today's horrible torture. 1. Join in the fun. Find a funny alter ego for yourself and be it. Change your profile picture, your personality, your name, etc. It's much more fun that way. 2. Have creative joke threads made out ahead of time for next year, but start making a damn good thread now. Its okay to postfarm today afterall But NOBODY will respect you if you make another generic leaving thread. BE CREATIVE. Make a funny thread that's worthy of going into the Nonsense Hall of Fame. Put effort into making a detailed thread that would make your ENGLISH TEACHER happy. 3. Enjoy the beautiful sights of April Fools. There will be a lot of new faces for today. Who you knew will be someone else. Enjoy their new alter egos for a day. You might never ever meet them again. 4. APPRECIATE the BEAUTY of the new theme. The new theme is a true work of art that's underappreciated. Please show your support for it and thank it's creator for spending a lot of time making it JUST for us. It's beautiful and should permanently replace the Default theme, but I guess not. Enjoy it, it might not ever return again. 5. HAVE FUN!
