So if you haven't heard of it, GameJolt is a website where you can download games that are made by much, much smaller creators who want to share their games to the public. Many of these games are free as they are quite small and don't have too much content; however, this doesn't mean that there aren't any hidden gems.
Looking past all the annoying Fnaf, Sonic and other garbage fan-made games, there are plenty of games that'll keep you coming back and looking for more. The main two that are my favourite is the very well known SanicBall, a racing game memed to hell and back by the infamous 2012 meme of the Sonic bootleg known as Sanic. And Logan Kart 8 Deluxe, also a racing game that is essentially a memed bootleg of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Starting with these two games is SanicBall. It's a great game to just muck around in with your friends. The main focus is obviously speed and majority of the racers are ball shaped. with a few exceptions but I'm not gonna spoil them. There is also five tracks each with a unique atmosphere and layout as well as having a few easter eggs hidden within the map. The game never takes itself too seriously but the AI is at least challenging and the checkpoint system is always nice.
Next one is Logan Kart 8 Deluxe. Originally just Logan Kart 8 until striked down by Nintendo them self from having characters such as Wario and Waluigi and the items that were ripped straight out of their true counterparts, the developers decided to create a censored version removing all things that could've been considered as copied and adding extra content as well. The game has 20 tracks over 5 cups as well as 9 characters. There are also some extremely high-speed CCs and difficult AI. The physics are different as well but not too drastically different that the game feels almost unplayable. Because I am such a huge fan of Mario Kart, this game felt amazing as it felt like having Mario Kart on your PC!
What are some other games on GameJolt that would be worth checking out and playing? (maybe not just PC exclusive but playable on Mac as well? Wink wink)
