Tbh kinda curious to see.
Dark Souls 3 for me, maybe Bloodborne depending on how that goes if I ever get the chance to run through it.

Thomas Was Alone for its nice gameplay and story. Fascinating how a game about jumping rectangles made me beat the entire thing in 1 sitting. The storytelling with it really gets your emotions started up.
Up, and to the right.

The original Dark Souls is definitely my favourite. Dark Souls 3 is pretty phenomenal as well and Bioshock, Hollow Knight, Halo Reach, and What Remains of Edith Finch are all up there as well.

Of all time, probably Minecraft. I've spent so many years playing that game and it never fails to captivate me.
However, some other more recent contenders are:
- Don't Starve Together - Fire Emblem Heroes (and FE: Radiant Dawn) - Spider and Web (interactive fiction)

Unreal Tournament 1999
If I actually find someone else here that has this as his favourite game too I would be baffled.

I don't think any game has ever left me feeling as amazing and taken so long to leave my mind as OneShot. I've played lots of incredible games, but there's just something extra about OneShot's personality that I find it hard to see any other game replicating that feeling in a better way.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and DS. The games that I've played the most in the series and they're both extremely fun. Mario Kart DS has its snaking mechanics, has a heap of memorable tracks and has mission mode; and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with its massive list of tracks, battle mode, great character and vehicle roster and fun online.
Apart from those two, I also love Pokemon Omega Ruby, Smash Ultimate, Super Mario World, Terraria, Sonic And All-Stars Racing Transformed and GD.

I have 10 favorite video games that i always look on YouTube to watch, so i will list them (not in order) and describe the game:
1. Geometry Dash. (Of course it's my favorite game, what do you expect? Platformers with simple, yet fun gameplay, amazing levels, ridiculous skill ceiling, GREAT songs, and a large community.)
2. Team Fortress 2. (First Person Shooter game with solid gameplay mechanic with 9 unique and lovable characters with different playstyle, interesting lore, secrets, and a dedicated community. You also don't have to win to have fun with the game because you can do whatever you want in the game.)
3. Minecraft. (Sandbox game with unlimited possibilities and a very dedicated community, that were still going strong even after the hype around it have died down.)
4. Undertale. (RPG game with amazing storyline with funny characters, hilarious joke, hidden secrets, unique gameplay mechanic, beautiful soundtrack, constant 4th wall breaking, 3 different major ending, and a very loyal fans.)
5. Deltarune. (Same with Undertale, but it has better gameplay because the game didn't punish you for playing the game the way you wanted it to be, way better jokes, and still have good characters.)
6. OneShot. (RPG game with very adorable protagonist, beautiful art, cool soundtrack, unique storyline, hidden secrets, EVEN BETTER 4th wall breaking, and clever puzzles that utilize the way the game broke the 4th wall.)
7. Deemo (Piano based mobile rhythm games with really sad story, AMAZING and hard songs, beautiful visuals, and cheap prices.)
8. Counter Strike/Counter Strike: Source/Counter Strike: Global Offensive. (The pinnacle of the competitive First Person Shooter games that require skins skills and practice to master. It also has a very entertaining competitive matches.)
9. Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2/ Need For Speed Underground/ Need For Speed Most Wanted. (Great gameplays with cool looking cars, amazing tracks, good musics, and solid storyline for NFSU and NFSMW.)
10. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. (The best GTA games for its great story, enjoyable gameplays, memorable characters, large environment with three major city and countrysides, hidden easter eggs, nice side mission, different game session posibilities, fun collectibles, cool vehicles, a large amount of weapons, customizable characters and game, catchy soundtracks, and more!)
That's all i have to offer...

I have a few games that I love very much and would hate to choose between them. I’ll just list them here:
Super Mario Sunshine: I have so much nostalgia for this game. Isle Delfino really felt real to me as a kid, and I would just play for hours with no real goal. The game itself is fantastic as well, I had fun trying to find every single blue coin and shine sprite.
Super Mario Odyssey: It’s the best 3D Mario game and one of the best games on switch. Can’t really say more than that at this time cause I’ve never reflected on the game.
Earthbound: One of the best RPGs of all time. Battle system is fantastic, the game has A LOT of personality and charm, every single NPC has something new to say (which makes it worth it to speak to every one), the final boss is one of the best experiences i’ve ever had in a video game, and more.
Luigi’s Mansion 1 and 2: Both of these games are great. That’s all I can really say on that.
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild: This game gives so much freedom and it’s so fun and it gets me so immersed in the experience. Cant really say much else on this because it’s too much to get into for this post.
Super Paper Mario: The best Paper Mario game in my opinion, it merges an RPG battle system and a platformer extremely well with damage being done more similar to regular mario than a turn-based battle system. The great gameplay paired with the stellar story makes for an amazing game.
Ace Attorney original trilogy (Ace Attorney, Justice for All, and Trials and Tribulations): I just replayed these games so I haven’t had much time to reflect on these so I’ll explain later. Now i’ll just say the game got me to laugh and cry because of its story and characters, and feel a rush of excitement every time I had momentum and was pointing out contradictions and stuff like that.

The two Mario Galaxy games

It's always hard to tell for me what's my favorite game but I'll post a few games that I either played or am still playing since a very long time, or games that had a big impact on me.
- Super Mario World: probably the most nostalgic Mario game for me. Don't get me wrong, I love many other games like Galaxy 1-2, NSMB Wii, SMB 1 and 3, etc. SMW on the other hand introduced me to ROM hacking which was really popular back then (it still holds a pretty dedicated community). There's a really powerful editor that allows for dozens of possibilities to modify this game. It's insane because people have made some crazy ROM hacks that pushed the game to its limits. The community was also very nice, and even though I'm not that much active anymore, I like to stop by once a while or create a level for a contest if I have time.
- Minecraft: I found so many friends thanks to this game, I literally spent thousands of hours playing with friends on multiplayer, but I also played a lot of vanilla or modded on singleplayer. I don't really play Minecraft anymore, I sometimes check if there's something new added to this game, but nowadays multiplayer servers aren't as popular as they used to be, and maybe that's what caused me to not play the game as much anymore. Still, I spent years playing this game and I had a lot of fun.
- Terraria: similar to Minecraft, I spent a lot of time on it and I found a nice community. I still play modded Terraria nowadays, because there's a lot of really interesting mods that allow for more exploration or challenges. It also has a really good development team: it may not be the greatest at organising their tasks, but they're friendly, they keep the community informed and they have a sense of humor. You can easily find the devs on Twitter, the Terraria forums or even a Discord server dedicated to the game, where they sometimes drop spoilers or updates regarding the game itself.
- Undertale: probably one of my favorite RPG and indie games in general. This game shows that you don't need banging aesthetics to make a game great. All you need is a really well made storyline and a gimmick that allows for extra replay value. This game really nailed that. If you act as a good character, the game will treat you well, but if you'll be cruel to everyone, the game will try its best to make you feel terrible. Very few games do that gimmick properly and Undertale actually did it very well. The storyline is also complicated but really interesting.
Of course don't expect me to not put this game too:
- Geometry Dash: sure, it's community has ups and downs, and the game has some bad flaws (mostly bugs and optimization), however this game has one of the most powerful level editors I have ever seen, and it's not a third party tool, it's actually something built in the game itself. It's just amazing how creative you can get with the editor if you learn how to use certain objects or triggers. It's just insane how levels have grown from simple block jumping to things that don't even resemble the game itself.
