Lately I've been replaying Dragon Quest 6 on my 3DS and it's still fun (except for one part), but last time I played it, I completed the entire game in about 2 months while playing casually, and it took me about 15 minutes to unlock all the secret extra content of which there wasn't much. Nevertheless, I'm trying to look for other casual RPG games like it, but haven't really branched out of Dragon Quest games on my 3DS (though I do have a Wii laying around somewhere).
Any suggestions on a good clean RPG game I can play?

The World Ends With You, Bravely Second, and Etrian Odyssey IV are all pretty good RPGs.

Pokemon's always a good RPG to try out. I would recommend Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire as they're the hardest, most enjoyable and have a fair amount of post-main content.

The Bowser's Inside Story remake just came out, so go with that one, still the best in the series

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey is a really nice remake of a classic. You could also get Mario and Luigi: Dream Team or Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam (even though Dream Team is much better).

So far, I'm planning on Dragon Quest games V, IX, and VIII (maybe IV) since they're slightly older and might go for cheaper on my 3DS (particularly IX since the only version in America is on DS). Might try a Zelda game or two once I get recommendations (I have a good friend who is obsessed with the games).
Also thinking about Bowser's Inside Story. No idea about the other suggestions as of now since I haven't researched them yet.

The Bowser's Inside Story remake just came out, so go with that one, still the best in the series Partners in Time begs to differ. Yes I realize how unpopular that is. |
