I'm trying to make an effect using particles, but when I play the level, only a few show up. What's going on, and is there a way to fix this?

Do what the person above said, here is instructions how to get to it: 1. Go to the title screen 2. Go to Options 3. Go to Help 4. Uncheck the box that says Low Detail Mode. Unfortunately if that doesn't work your graphics files may be corrupted, especially if you reinstalled textures wrong. Then try backing up data and reinstalling from scratch.
