How did you come up with your Username?

well my 12 year old self liked gangnam style so i decided to name myself gangumking17 i mispelled gangnam on purpose to make it more unique. then sometime in 8th grade i shortened it to gangum because it sounded more casual imo and thats how i came up with gangum

Initials and birth year because I want someone to compromise all my personal assets as easily as possible.

About 3.5-ish years ago, I was obsessed with fezzes for whatever reason, so I chose my GD username to be Fezgaming. I later realized how stupid this sounded, so I changed it to Fezzie. However, about 1.5 years ago, I got into linguistics and decided to learn the IPA. I decided that I liked the sounds of front rounded vowels, so I changed the first vowel in my username from /ɛ/ to /øː/. In order to make this change not seem random, I also changed the spelling from Fezzie to Fœ̄zi.

My nickname was created in a similar way to KrmaL's current nickname. I used parts of my very old nickname and used a slightly modified version of the pronunciation of my shortened old nickname.

I wish I was so creative with nicknames these days...

First online thing I ever signed up for was under my middle name followed by a 7. I’ve kept the number 7 and never a different number since then.

Then I changed it to Lemon7 when I was very young still

Then, a while after I started playing minecraft, I put a cake block on a melon block and thought it looked cool.
So I named myself TheMelonCakeStand.
(This is seriously embarrassing and is only topped by my brother calling himself Required222 since the username box said “Username is required”)

I tried making some YouTube videos under the alias TheMelonCakeStand but to no avail, so I decided to take youtube ‘seriously’ and came up with a new name for myself. Blazes were and still are by far my favourite monster in minecraft, and I really liked the nether as a whole. So, I came up with Blazemaster7, along with my own little lore of how an ordinary guy became king of the blazes. Yes, I do remember exactly how it goes. You can still find the Blazemaster7 YouTube channel today, I unlisted all the videos but just ask and I can send you some pretty great stuff including voice acting lol.

A bit less than a year later in the middle of 2014 is when my modern username developed. I thought Roblox looked interesting and I wanted to register for it, but when I tried, the username Blazemaster7 was taken. I was a little annoyed but I quickly thought of a new substitute; Blazedude7. Wait, nah that sounds a bit dorky, how about Blazedude77, that has a bit more ring to it.

Eventually I just signed up for everything under Blazedude77, some accounts of mine I use have the username to this day, such as my Steam.

In mid 2017 is where my current username arose. I decided to shorten Blazedude77 to just BlazeD77 in Geometry Dash and I thought that had a better sound to it and the lettering looks better too. I go by just Blaze like I have for 4 years but I sign up for whatever I can under BlazeD77.

By the way, it’s Blaze D 77, not Blazed 77.

So I originally was Aim, but that sounded stupid. I then tried to think of a name for YT and Terraria for about two weeks. I came up with Swift from the swift potion in Terraria and how I was the fastest sprinter in my school at the time. And than ergaming cause I’m the “swiftest gamer”. This sounds so stupid XD Anyways, I usually just go by Swifter :3
