That's the issue. GD crashed and since then it doesn't work. I open it, it says I'm playing it for 3 seconds, then closes again. That's it.

I have tried reinstalling, deleting the files in AppData/Local, verifying integrity of game files, running in compatibility mode, running in administrator mode, reinstalling visual basic 2010 and 2013 for both 32 and 64 bit, replacing save files with backups, but NONE worked. NONE.

Update: I have reinstalled visual basic, and now GD actually opens but it gets stuck and stops responding on the loading screen.

Ok so it works now. I used the NVIDIA control panel and set gd to use integrated graphics
