This has been happening since March, but only reported for the first time few hours ago, its been said that Google+ is being shut down. Apparently this is due to a user leakage that leaked hundred of thousand of user data. www.bbc.com/news/technology-45792349 |

Honestly, I'm not even suprised. It just stores data for no reason and it just feels useless in general. I never got to use it.

Like fifteen months ago, I applied for the 2.2 Hype Community in G+. I didn't even remember I sent it, and sometime last August, I got a notification saying "omegawow you're in the hype community now!"
That's literally the only memory I have of using this shitty, annoying-to-navigate platform

I mean, I didn't think it was that bad. I used it for a couple years in grade 6-8, and it's never felt more inconvenient or difficult to use than other social media platforms. I even prefer the multiple-post layout over the Facebook single-post layout because there's so much less scrolling you need to do. Plus, it's integrated with Google Hangouts (inferior to Google Talk, but that's another thing) which has a much better UI than Facebook's Messenger, which also feels like a completely detached app.
The only reason I stopped using it was because I went to high school the year after and no one there used it.
