haha yes blaze taught me very important stuff about not giving up on insane demons i think its not about the difficulty but mainly how much you want to/how motivated you are like theoretically a person with speed racer as their hardest could beat like cataclysm if their one dream was to beat that and jump to it
idk trying to relate this to myself but i havent put that much time into anything hard yet so

Honestly, if not the input delay in the game that demotivates me, I'd probably already be slaying hard demons daily and attempting to beat an insane demon. Unfortunately in the recent like 1-2 months the game started to be so janky that it responds to my clicks with varying delays, and that's unacceptable when trying to beat an insane demon where I need to be precise with my clicks. I think I also noticed the varied input delay. This might be due to my lack of consistency but when I was playing Firewall on the original level, sometimes, the game seems to respond a bit later than usual which can cause the pre-drop to be annoying for me in some attempts.

Super relatable.
In 2016, I slayed only easy demons or sometimes medium demons. I thought that I couldn't beat Nine Circles, Forsaken Neon, Audio Excursion and more. 2017 was surely a changing point. Some demons that I thought was impossible for me, in June 2017, was all slain. Forsaken Neon, Devoid, Deadly ClubStep, Audio Excursion, The Caverns, Lets Bounce, Endorphin, Windy Landscape, The Four Elements, those were all done (yeah they're kind of hard-insane demons). In August 2017, I beat Sequence (yes, by Woogi), which was holy shit unexpected at last. Starting from 15th November 2017, that was the massive change of me. I went fully crazy by beating Excessive Compliment (and actually recorded it, check my oldest youtube videos). Man, I was like wtf how come I could beat this, never thought a high-end insane demon would finally beaten by me. Not long later, I beat PP2, then Duelo Maestro solo, Luminum, Hyperio Technia, and eventually, Old Cataclysm, my first extreme demon. All done without me knowing that I've gone too far lol.
And so far so good, 55% celestial force, which is #11 on pointercrate. Did I actually expect this? nope.
So yeah, just keep trying and trying, don't hold back, and don't be afraid of pushing your limits. Yes sure, majority will suffer so hard, but the result will make it happy ending.

My most notable jump was from Deadlocked to Rupture, which was euphoric.
People should accept challenges and leave their comfort zone more frequently; it's really beneficial.

If a certain level takes me too long and frustrates the fuck out of me, I'm not feeling anything after beating it. That's just not worthy

In all fairness, not everyone has the time or drive to sink several thousand attempts into beating one level. I’ve done it before, and yeah it felt great once it was finally over, but it took me forever to beat said level. Eventually it gets to the point where that level stops being fun and starts being frustrating. Learning the level is the fun part, replaying the same part hundreds of times so that you get consistent at it, not so much. And then there’s the aforementioned time commitment. I’m a fairly busy guy. I work, play football, go to the gym, and maintain a social life. I don’t have the time to sit down and play GD for over an hour at a time so that I can get consistent at a level. I could still try but it’d take me months because of how infrequent practice would be. Like the attempt counts that people put into these difficult levels is insane and results in spending upwards of 10 hours on one level. A lot of people don’t have that skill developed so it’d end up taking them even longer and not everyone has the time to commit to that.

Dedicating time is part of the whole thing

Just a tip: dont play levels you are sure you cant beat, its just a waste of time and i am an expert in this (30k attempts in bloodbath on 60hz, got very good progress but it was just a waste of time, 10k or more in sonic wave, 10k or a bit less in Yatagarasu) good progress in everything i tried but my hardest is still quest for perfection. So the point is, push your limits but dont be stupid, dont waste time and you'll see you will get amazing results

When I push my limits too far it just gets too time-consuming for me to find fun in the game any longer, I like to try new things. I also have a very busy school schedule so I don't have a lot of long time periods to practice demons when I've got several projects I'm also working on.

Every time I beat my hardest level, I say to myself 'I'll never beat anything harder than this'. But then I do. It's all a mental thing. Back when I beat Nine Circles and nearly lost my sanity in doing so, I never dreamed I'd be where I'm at now, looking at levels on the list. Anyone who doubts themselves would be amazed at what they're capable of. You just gotta put in the time and effort to work your way up.
