I get a notification from Steam asking if it wants to update, I click "RESTART STEAM" (to apply the update), it seems to work, then a few hours later it asks to install the same update, and it keeps doing this. Help?
Edit: Actually, make that every few minutes instead of every few hours

Any steam update problem I have is fixed by resetting my computer. Maybe try that? burrito1 has the problem been fixed?

Try fully uninstalling Steam from your computer if you know how to do that (if you don’t, then just google how to uninstall a program). Just make sure you backup all your files that you need first (saving GD and such things)
