Hi im kind new to lvl creating and i would like feedback on my lvl "glistening emeralds" idk if its good or not. Id:48231474

Starting the level right away your color scheme is disharmonious. You've got green coupled with gray and red backgrounds, and not a very vibrant green. Considering the level name is of a glistening jewel, you would think the colors would be more shining and bright. The black glow is way too apparent and darkens the entire level, lower the opacity to keep the shading but not the darkness. Your structures all consists of a bunch of floating two block platforms, try to create a variety of platforms with different shapes, and connect some of them to the ground. Chill out with the orbs a little bit and spread out evenly the distribution between platforming and orbs, or it becomes too spammy and doesn't help the flow of the level at all.
Your gameplay in addition to orb spam also is way too hectic in movement. The cube is flying right off the screen to random pads and more of the aforementioned orb spam. It's good to have variation in elevation, but not to this extent. Keep the gameplay chill and readable.
The white flashes during around 40% are completely blinding, and the entire level is literally just darkness. The problem of single/double block structures still is here, and the gameplay still has offscreen and unreadable parts. Make sure the player always can see directly what is coming up next.
The rest of the level finally has some larger structures, but they're all copy and pasted. Variation is key to making a level not repetitive, change up the shapes, sizes, and positioning of these structures. The design is also extremely basic with basic blocks and some glow. Take a look at any level from this date and age, and note the smaller decorational objects layered over the basic blocks to create complexity and depth. Try and practice doing stuff like that.
So overall, all aspects of this level Need Improvement.
