I've noticed that the songs from Meltdown and Worlds are in the game files and I've seen other people using them in their levels. How can I do that?

People use the Meltdown and World songs in their levels from Newgrounds, not the game files. For example; Machina used to be fairly common and the way people put it in their levels was by downloading it off newgrounds with custom songs.
Any level that uses the game files songs for meltdown and such are hacked.

Any level that uses the game files songs for meltdown and such are hacked. That's what he means. There's levels that use the hacked version of the song. The OP is trying to find out how to use the hacked version.

Do not link to or promote hacks that can be used maliciously. Most creating hacks are okay (i.e. object limit bypass). However, linking to or promoting anything used for cheating or malicious activity is grounds for serious punishment. These include but are not limited to: hacks that change your statistics in any way, speed hacks, flooding or manipulation of RobTop's servers, hacking of user accounts, copy hacking others' levels and granting someone level moderator permissions; furthermore, linking to APKs of any kind are not allowed because it is a violation of piracy laws. As far as I'm aware, using songs that are are already in the files of the game counts as a creating hack, not a malicious one, and if object limit bypass is ok, then I don't see why using hidden songs isn't.

The songs are not available on newgrounds and neither are they ingame. Considering it’s not available on newgrounds, it can very well be considered that the meltdown songs are NONG songs (not on newgrounds). Obviously these aren’t allowed in the game so hacking them in may violate certain rules unlike creator hacks like the unlimited objects and custom objects hacks. Meltdown songs aren’t even supposed to be in the main game, they’re exclusively for Meltdown just as the levels are. If you do want to use them without hacking them in then I would suggest doing the same trick to get NONG songs ingame (going into local appdata and replacing a newgrounds song with the desired song). If you don’t know how to do that then there’s plenty of videos on YouTube that can tell you how to do it. Just search “How to get NONG songs in Geometry Dash”

Just search “How to get NONG songs in Geometry Dash” If the songs aren't supposed to be in the game, then why are they in the files of the full version? Rob stores all the files for GD, Meltdown, Subzero and World all in the same place. As to why this is, my best guess is that he didn’t want to rewrite a ton of code for each game so he used the same code to run each of them, all with slight modifications. For example, World uses the same level servers as GD, having some online levels available and with daily levels too. Rob just stores every asset of all 4 games in 1 huge thing. The code for GD grabs songs from the same folder that the code for Meltdown does as well and that’s why the songs are in the same folder. The songs are not supposed to be in regular GD and are exclusive to Meltdown just like the levels are (the levels are also probably in the same area as the regular GD levels). Again, if you do want them hack free in the game you can use the NONG song trick
