It's been a while huh? Anyway, I just want some constructive criticism for this level since I'm trying to get it rated. I already made some changes, but I'm not sure if it's enough to be considered feature-worthy. Edit: CreativeGuy Pretty decent level overall. I only have a handful of issues with the level. The first section is probably my least favourite section in terms of decoration. The black blocks with a white grid pattern just doesn’t work in my opinion. It’s too simple of a block design for my taste while also being too busy and cluttered to pull off a visually appealing simple look. The white glow on top of some of the blocks also doesn’t look very good. The second section with the rounded blocks and spinning shapes in the background is probably my favourite section. The block design here pulls off the simplistic style well and the background is clean. No complaints her for decoration. The third section (the drop) has the best background in my opinion. It is however a little cluttered around the centre. You could probably remove at least some of the pulsing squares from the bottommost layer of the background. Again, not a fan of the use of white in the block design here. You use a lot of 3D but don’t use different shades to pull off the 3D look properly, resulting in the blocks looking very flat. And aside from the 3D, there isn’t a whole lot of block design in this section. The block design is just boring to look at and the choice of colour clashes very badly with the background. The fourth and final section is the most generic looking part of the level. Not really much to say about it. The background is just alright, especially compared to what came before, and the block design isn’t anything to write home about either. As for gameplay, the thing that I look for most is sync. Sync in this level is a very mixed bag. It’s alright in some places of the first two section, is non-existent in the third section, and is actually pretty decent in the final section (especially at the spider part). The difficulty of the gameplay itself is also pretty inconsistent. The drop is definitely a lot easier than the rest of the level. I will however say that it is easy to sightread, which I like. It does make the level a lot easier, probably around 6* at most, but I’d take an easy level over a slightly harder level with awful translations and off screen jumps and rings. The biggest thing for improving your gameplay would be making the sync better. I’d recommend using the create lines feature in the level editor to help with getting better music sync.
