So I've just come accross something that could help immensly with GD, and I didn't know where to put it so I'll put it here.
Basically what I discovered was a fix to screen tearing, where I could disable the Vsync option and have no screen tearing meaning that I could run GD was so much less input delay. This is very good for me, as my screen tearing without Vsync on is absolutely atrocious and makes the game unplayable.
However this came with a cost. Ever since January for some unknown reason I had major lag problems in GD and I found a fix to that too, uninstalling my Nvidia display adapter.
Usually there's an Nvidia display adapter there but I already uninstalled it for this session. For some reason it resets every time my computer shuts down.
However when I uninstall that, the screen tearing fix is also taken away.
So now I'm stuck here thinking of what could be the solution. I found a fix to screen tearing and it's been made unable to do due to a problem that appeared out of nowhere one day. Any solutions for how to fix the lag without uninstalling my Nvidia adapter?
I've tried plenty of things over the months (updating, reseting computer, etc.) but nothing has worked. This also only happens with GD, nothing else.

Update to anyone who wants to help; in the Nvidia control panel I changed literally every setting I could find to high preformance and that cut the lag to about a quarter of what it was before. The lag is still here though and I won’t be able to play insane demons or anything with it :/
Solutions?
