Sequence:
(see GD wiki on wikia for what these mean)
S, C, U, u, U, C, W, S,, B, .B, C, Sp, W, C, B,
Better tell you something, unless you are a very famous GDist, using a classic style is not gonna work. My advice is to really focus on high detail levels. But let's split the level into gameplay and decoration.
Gameplay
The gameplay is rather standard. (yes level nowadays don't seem to have good gameplay either, dunno why) Just maybe avoid a transition from ship to ball with a ring (42%). You know, portals are 3 blocks high and you can't really guarantee where the ball will land. Also, make good use of triggers. (triggered) They give movement to blocks and your level. Trust me, they have incredible potential.
Decoration
In 2.1, there are TONS of decoration to choose. Static blocks have different variations. There are clouds, hands, signs, particles, shadings, blah blah blah. Epic levels take months to make. (yes months) If you try them out, you can see everything are extremely high detailed. (thus having high object count every time) You don't need such high detail in order to have a rating, but at least put your effort into decoration.
Some more things to note
The ship part starting at 34% is, erm...
give me a second
Ship part nowaday mostly feels like driving a spaceship through a tunnel but not simply passing pillars. Better work on what to put between those 'pillars'. It doesn't matter much on gameplay but in deco, it feels much better.
Aaand I found a bug on 58%.
I know there is a level called 'Dear Nostalgists', but that's made by TriAxis, a famous GD player who makes awesome levels. Either make impressive gameplay and apply some deco(it is necessary), or focus on detail.
Here is the video clip. (it's everyplay lol)
