thread title speaks for itself. ive tried playing on fullscreen and the same issue is there, at least with input delay. with levels like The Hell Series i just cannot have this issue where my timings are different dependant on what the game feels like giving me. is there anything i can do that would stop this from happening?

Yeah, I tend to have that issue too. Sometimes my clicks respond instantly and sometimes I die stupidly in easy places because the game either decides to not respond or click an orb too late.
From what I heard, windowe mode seems to be more buggy and unstable than fullscreen, that's why I play on fullscreen all the time. You could also try messing with VSync and smooth fix options, but considering you're playing a very difficult level, I assume you have them turned off.
