This wouldn't help as the slopes aren't at a 22.5 degree angle. tan(θ)=0.5 θ=arctan(0.5) θ≈26.565

Even if there was a rotate 26.565 degree button it would not be useful when you want build on a 2V:1H slope

Trigonometry? You shouldn't. It's a pretty basic concept but it definitely can seem really foreign if you have never been introduced to it. Eventually you'll be able to come back to it'll seem very simple to you.
