I'm not really a good judge, but here's my opinion: It looks alright and the gameplay is fun, but the block design really needs working on - add multiple layers and detail, don't use just one block throughout. I think the rain effect is really cool, well done with that. Custom backgrounds are good, but i would remove those glows on the side, or rotate them to the top of the screen. Out of 10, i would give this level a 6/10. It's barely rate worthy, but i still think that it's quite good

So, this level. Not bad, but not great either. Don't worry, I'll be a bit more detailed than that.
Gameplay: The gameplay for this level is pretty bland. I wouldn't say it's bad, it's just... uninteresting. The majority of the cube parts are just movements from 1-block-wide platforms to 1-block-wide platforms, either via jumps or via orbs. The other sections are mostly the same, too- all your platforms are one wide, and in ship parts and UFO parts, just scattered around. I also feel like the level has an overreliance on cube sections, which in turn leads to the gameplay seeming more repetitive. The main problem was just that nothing stood out. It wasn't bad, it just felt like a drag to try and get through the level. The music sync was also relatively uninteresting, and the way the portals were placed- as in the timing of them compared to the music- also felt off.
That being said, it wasn't as though it's the worst thing I've played in the world. The level generally flowed- it never felt choppy (save for the location of the portal transitions), and it wasn't really buggy either. It was fine to get through- I might not have found it too interesting, but I was never annoyed by it. So in that regard, it was fine. As far as gameplay goes, you don't really have any critical problems that you need to fix before proceeding onward. You just need to try and make it a bit more varied and a bit more interesting. Speed changes, gravity portals, more usage of other forms, and different structures of gameplay should help with that. In addition, I'd like to mention that, in my opinion, that was definitely not a 3* level- at least 4*, maybe even 5*. So be a bit careful about that.
Gameplay score: 4/10
Decoration: Same sort of idea here as with the gameplay- again, not bad, just uninteresting. The level follows the same decoration the whole way through- same background, same block design, and same outside borders, all the way through the level. Unlike the gameplay though, parts of the decoration did feel messy. I feel like the borders on the left and right were largely unnecessary. If you use borders, they should be used sparingly, rather than for the whole level in the same stagnant setup the whole way through. The style of the level, with both the song and the rest of the decoration, didn't really call for it either. Usage of borders like that can help make a level more interesting, but when it's repetitive, it does the opposite. Also, the black spots in the middle bugged me too- it felt more like a blemish on my screen rather than an interesting piece of decoration. Again, though, not the worst thing I've ever seen. Besides the black borders on the left and right and the spots in the middle, the decoration never seemed too messy. The rain effect was pretty cool, too (but be careful about your colors- red doesn't mix that well with light blue. I think it would've been better if the rain were just white.) Same idea as before- you just need to make it more interesting. I wasn't all that motivated to continue on with the level simply because it all looked the same. Some things you should definitely try- varied structures, more colors (and more shades), thorns on the top and bottom sometimes (just to help make the level feel grounded, plus it gives you room for more varied decoration).
Also, music sync. Like with the gameplay, the level's decoration wasn't all that synced with the music either. And by that I mean- more things that pulse with the music. There wasn't much changing in the level besides the color of the background. Use more pulsing objects, and give the level a bit more energy with the pulsing. For a more upbeat song like the one you used, the level needs more energy as the song gets more energetic- this is where pulsing objects, and perhaps more shifts in decoration, help.
Decoration score: 3/10
Overall comments: I read the description of the level- you made it in one day. Props, but honestly, that shows. It's very difficult to make a level in one day with 20,000 objects and not overuse Copy+Paste. I feel like the fact that you made the level so quickly is a large part of why it was so uninteresting to play. Plus, the borders and black spots felt messy, and I feel like the level could do (and would in fact be better) without them.
The point is, don't build your levels so they're quick to make, build your levels so they're good. Put some time into them. In the context of creating for one day and one day only, this is actually a pretty good level. But I feel that if you put some real time (i.e., more than a day) into building a level, you could actually come up with a feature-worthy result. Maybe not on the first try, but if this is your first real published level (which, judging by your published levels list, it is), then you have a lot of potential. Again, you don't have any major problems to fix, you just need to work on making your levels more interesting. And that's something that takes time, but, that's time that you have. So keep creating, because if you do, I think that you've got a good future ahead of you.
Overall score: 3.5/10
Rating: Decent Levels
Just wanted to say, sorry if I came off as harsh. I know that I can be a harsh judge (not just in judging levels, but just as a judge in general), so yeah, if I did, sorry about that. And hey, good luck with creating!

Nice review! I agree, definitely a repetitive level. Gameplay is better than some levels I've seen, it has a slight mix of orbs and regular jumps, but that's really as far as it goes. It could use a lot more interesting gameplay as you've said. Dreamcast, I had one issue around 36% where I hit the green orb too early and it caused me to fall behind for a couple seconds before by inevitable crash. You should probably check that out. I think you did a great job, Plasmatic. Pointing out specifics can help, however this is a repetitive level so there's not too much to zero in on. Moving to Decent.
