I have followed the cvolton tutorial exactly, but it didn't work. Instead when I typed in url/database/connection.php, the website showed the default domain name registration advertisement name.

Please don't make posts on very old threads unless you have something to contribute in more detail. The users here haven't been active in years and will likely never read this thread, so if you want more info on private servers I'd suggest looking around for other threads or creating your own and seeing if anyone else can give you advice
