that95gamerLevel Name: Dripping Level Author: that95gamer Level ID: 46507481 Review: Gameplay: 7/10: The gameplay in this level is kinda boring, but there's not much you can go for when the level is easy difficulty. It's generally pretty smooth, though there's a few things I'd like to critique. First of all, the ship segment in the middle of the level has no gameplay at all. Just staying still, waiting for the transition. This can be excused due to the lack of beat, but something would be nice. Overall, smooth gameplay, but try to spice it up since it's pretty slow and not the most fun to play. Design: 8/10: The designs in this level are pretty high quality. They are smooth, they flow, and they look good. The only problem I have with the designs is that they don't look very original. They look pretty similar to designs in other levels, which isn't always a bad thing, but having more variety or uniqueness can spice up the level to make it more memorable. No real complaints here apart from the lack of originality, so good job. Music Sync: 7/10: The music sync is pretty linear, but it's still pretty good. Either the gameplay syncs to the level, or the design moves to the beat. It's good sync, but not spectacular. One part that suffered in sync is the first UFO. The UFO is a good opportunity to have some more synced gameplay, but it just has the background sync to the beat, as per earlier. Overall, good job in music sync. Overall: 22/30: GOOD: This level is pretty solid in each regard, however you should work towards a greater variety of designs and gameplay elements to spice up your level and create something great.

Nice review! You brought up nice points, I definitely think gameplay is where this level falls short. I agree with your point about the middle ship, it's definitely important to always keep things interesting. Another complaint I have is the ship section at 30% doesn't have much variety, just loose straight flying, which doesn't make it too interesting. As for the category, I'll be putting this in feature worthy because imo the designs are nice and clean, and it is a very full level. The main issue which brings it down is gameplay for a couple of sections, but I think that it's generally good enough to keep it in feature worthy. I see your point on the good rating though.
