When I make my rotation blocks and the center on the last one to the bottom, and I rotate it 90 degrees, it does rotate 90 degrees but it doesn't stay aligned like in the other youtube videos on tutorials. Please help. Thanks!

What do you mean by "aligned"? Like, things move inconsistently?

It sounds like you need to mess with the "Lock Object Rotation" option on the rotate trigger. When toggled, it will remain orthogonal, and when toggled on, it will remain orthogonal, and when toggled off, it won't. You should also remember that objects with multiple surfaces, like blocks, are static and therefore will always remain orthogonal.
