This is like a really easy old-styled demon level that I verified on my phone, I'm a phone-only player btw. Creator: (me) Enyazo Name: Simple Demon ( ID: 44076704 )
Difficulty: probably around 7-8 stars tbh but i'll rate it demon because there were so many easy demon levels back in the day.
Don't talk about how there's not enough decoration etc, because that's the entire point, it's meant to be simple and look old.
Talk about how I could improve the gameplay, etc how the ship sections might be a bit too much straightflying and how there's no UFO section in the level etc.
and also if this isn't demon for you I have a buffed version of this level named Simple Demon X which is definitely a demon.

So the gameplay implemented a bunch of readable fakes pads and orbs, which I actually quite enjoy especially considering the daily level we've just had. However there's also the unreadable stuff like the orb at 20%. Even in demon levels, you shouldn't rely too much on offscreen, invisible things, memorization (the fakes you used were readable so they're fine). Rather than this "artificial difficulty", just make the level challenging but readable. Same thing with 24%, and the rest of the offscreen orbs.
There was a lot of dynamics in the level. The ship moved all over the place, the cube took advantage of different block structures. I really don't have any complaints, it seems fairly fun overall without being too boring. Some of the placements of orbs too close to blocks although essential to the gameplay did look rather odd looking and ruined symmetry a little. I understand maybe that's how the gameplay was designed, but maybe you can work something out.
You said you didn't want to talk about decoration, but that's part of determining overall placement so I'm obligated to explain. Obviously as you said, it's an old styled level. But judging from comparison in today's times, it won't be up to par. So overall the gameplay is fairly well done, but the decoration is too outdated to place any higher than a Decent. That doesn't mean the level is necessarily bad, personally I think it's actually pretty damn fun, but as far as placement determining rating probability that's as high as I can put it for being an old styled level.
