First Idea Possibilities:
Computer / PC / Mobile Device Shuts Down after every Death
The Game Closes on Every Death
The Level Closes on Every Death, and you lose mana orbs (or any other collectible)
Maybe it could Cost Mana Orbs to play in hardcore mode
Basically You Have to Beat the level on the First Attempt and you get a penalty if you die ------ and you get more rewards for beating in this mode.
The Bar color is Red and Placed Above Normal Mode above Practice mode, Another Idea: Hardcore Mode is unlocked after collecting all the coins in the level if any.
The Rewards could be 150% of the stars you would have gotten from Normal Mode, and an achievement Icon/Color/DeathEffects like you would get for beating a certain amount of levels in Normal/Practice // Online Normal/OnlinePractice but with a another set of new icons for Hardcore
Second Idea Possibilities:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Like Before It is a red bar placed above Normal Mode,
But this time when a creator is making a level they can create a new layer that can be toggled on and off, its basically so they can add buffs/ adjust the level for when a player chooses to play in Hardcore Mode.
The Rewards would be about the same as the 1st Suggestion without the Penalty, as the Penalty in this Version is the actual Physical Buffs to the level.

First one: Hell no this would be annoying as fuck Second one: Also very annoying. Plus might incidentally remove save data Third one: A possibility, but still very annoying Requirements/Prerequisites: Having to pay orbs would likely outweigh the reward. Also having to complete a level again, especially with all the coins, is quite bothersome.
Basically, my main issue with this is that the risk heavily outweighs the reward, to the point of it not being worth it.

all of these except the fourth one are needlessly annoying and test patience more than skill. the fourth one is also quite pointless as it’s incredibly easy to farm orbs which means it’ll either pose no challenge or be so expensive no one will bother with it just for a few icons

all of these except the fourth one are needlessly annoying and test patience more than skill. the fourth one is also quite pointless as it’s incredibly easy to farm orbs which means it’ll either pose no challenge or be so expensive no one will bother with it just for a few icons also, liking your own post. The point is that it is an expansion to the game that people would like, and that completing a level in just the single first attempt would be exciting and to offer a risk vs. reward factor, this is an idea to be expanded upon as I see a ton of potential here for replay-ability. I do like this post as I see all the creativity that I have planted and I hope for others to see this as well, Just the idea of this being implemented would makes me want to have more ideas for the game, I'm sorry you see no point in something with so much potential, I wish for you to become more idealistic

It's too late in the game to add this now. Maybe if Rob added this in 1.0 or even by 1.4 it would have been beneficial, but now it would change the game too much. Stargrinding would be incredibly different, because most people can beat a 4 star level on first try and then get 6 stars for it.
Second option just makes it more difficult for Rob, because he has to look at both versions of every level to gauge their difficulty. You'd have plenty of people making hardcore mode no different, just so that people would get more stars from their level.
Overall, this would have been a good idea if it was presented earlier in the game's history.

Oh no, someone doesn’t like your idea and gave me constructive criticism, time to start ranting all about how good my idea is and how dumb people who don’t like my idea are
Last way would be ok i guess, you can already do that with toggle triggers, etc. Other ideas are retarded (very annoying to have to reopen/replay the game every time you die, especially with troll and hard levels) and shutting down a mobile device isn’t even possible in code without admin privileges iirc.

i really feel like these are unnecessary (except for the last one, which might be good). i mean, isnt gd hard enough? does it really have to kick you off your computer? also getting extra rewards are pointless too.

Do you know how annoying having your game close every time you die would be? Imagine playing a level with shitty gameplay and unpredictable move triggers.
It's just way more annoying than practical.

Better way of doing it:
Hardcore -Available only for main levels -Unlocked once 3 coins collected (like you said) -Buffs the level to a harder difficulty -Could work for user levels if he adds a possibility to buff the level in an alternate editor for the hardcore mode, and would also only be unlocked once all coins are colleted, and if no coins are in the level, it would be unlocked with just completing it.

When I saw this, I thought of it being harder versions of the levels. But no, it’s exiting repeatedly and would make the game 19458393858203858383% MORE rage.

Possibilities 1-3: Making the game kick you out on whatever doesn't make the level harder; It just makes the mode f*cking annoying.
Possibilites 4: This could work but only for official levels.
