Mkay so I clicked my profile to see that I had 2 new messages from my friend, both with a "RE:" tag, indicating it was from a message chain from 7 months ago. I was slightly confused as to what they meant, because one said "He is <number> years older than me???" and "3". I went into my sent messages folder to see if I had sent something a while ago and he was only now responding to it, and found 2 messages to him from 4 hours ago that I had not written or sent. One said "sea1997" and the other said "2", both a with a "RE:" tag as well.
The only 2 possibilities I can think of are that I was hacked or that some kind of hiccup happened with the servers (the sea1997 message could've come from the fact that I've sent shitposts to sea before)
I don't really know.

Man, sorry I'm tired and I can't read well. Let's see if I understand this, though.
Messages in your Sent folder: (which you don't remember sending) - Sea1997 - 2
Messages in your Inbox from your friend: - He is # years older than me - 3
All four messages came with an ":re" tag indicating they were all replies to a previous message. You don't remember sending either of the messages in your Sent folder.
Hm...
Did you lend your device to anyone recently? Maybe they wanted to just message someone for the hell of it (which I have had happen to me before).
Or it could've been hacking. Can you check to see if anything has been missing/added to your account? Maybe stats, a created levels, maybe your Saved folder, etc.
I'm sorry, but I just can't think of a way this could be game-related. The messages seem way too specific (like, why would a robot send a message that says "Sea1997" to your friend? It just doesn't seem plausible enough to be a malfunction with the game.
Maybe I'll have a few ideas when I'm less tired, idk

You understood all the info correctly, dw. I haven't logged out of or into my account on any device recently, and I haven't found any changed stats yet. Until I see anything unusual again, I'll probably just be saving my data frequently. If nothing happens after a while I'll call it just a server glitch (even though this seems rather ludicrous). I guess this can be moved to resolved unless there's something I'm missing.

If you did not write them, then someone else probably did unless it's some weird server glitch. I would suggest you to change your password just to be safe.

This is definitely a glitch. A similar thing happened with me at the beginning of 2.1, where someone else's level appeared to have been posted by me. I'm aware of some other instances where it has happened as well.

I uploaded a level as a guest, and then I searched up the id and it said it was by some registered user i did not recognize. Strange.
The only other possibility I can think of is that you got hacked.
