Since the thread how to fix this issue, it doesn't fix anything for me, so I'm going to be writing my own thread for help since that thread didn't help me, here is what happens when I launch it.
BTW I use the steam version.
When I press play for Geometry Dash on steam, on the bottom right it shows that I'm playing it on steam, but then atleast 2 - 20 (it can be a few seconds or 20 seconds) seconds later my icon goes back to blue. During this time, the game doesn't launch. In task manager when I hit play, the game does not show up in task manager.
