The voices tell me this is going to be the size-portal spam of 2.2.
I could see this being used in great ways, depending on the song of the level. Let's just hope it's not used in annoying fashion, aye?

This would be annoying considering there probably be no warnings as to when time warping would occur. Plus, I'm kind of mad to see RobTop still adding new features to this update.

Feel like it should be a portal instead of a trigger to make it easier for players to know when time warping will occur, other than that I think this is gonna be great!  |

As much as I want to like this, I feel as if it has a lot of unfortunate implications in how this will affect gameplay. Simply put, speed triggers directly contradict what was taught with speed portals. Speed portals make you go faster (or slower) but they also change the physics of how each game mode works (apart from wave). This makes a lot of sense. If speed portals did not change the physics, the way you control would simply feel off. Go on YouTube and set the speed of any level to other than default and you'll see what I mean. With this speed 'trigger' it will simply feel akward having the physics with one speed directly contradict the speed the level is going at. I think this is a bad idea to be perfectly honest.

I don't think this is a good idea. The rhythm/speed of the game is very important (at least to me), and I need to know how fast spikes are coming at me and time my taps accordingly. I'm not good enough to do exactly what's currently happening at my player, so if the speed arbitrarily changes, even for a second or so, everything is completely messed up.
Speed portals are different because they have set physics and you can see them coming. In that sense, this also reminds me of how the reverse trigger acts similar to a mirror portal, but with 0 warning. This is a speed portal, but not only with 0 warning, it also can be at any speed! Wow, sounds like so much fun.

Guys, people are already able to abuse levels and make them into hell on earth to play. Levels that abuse this feature will be heavily criticized and thus people won't use it.

timewarp suddenly activates making my timing off and i smash into the triple
i feel like if the said scenario above or anything similar to it happened, i'd just be full of rage, im really not liking alot of 2.2 features and how they could be used as alot of them could enduce my rage. dying due to rng really ticks me off and bs like this wouldn't help. in all honesty im trying to find another game where i can reside because atm gd isn't making me happy anymore. =/
i DO understand it can be used for good, im not some one sided idiot lol. but i feel like the negative outweighs the positive for me.

I literally sat at my computer with my mouth open after watching this. This is actually great. Combined with the camera triggers, this could definitely be used to create some awesome cinematic effects.
Not to mention that we can now use speedhacks to practice levels in-game.

This add that bit of difficulty especially in upcoming extreme demons as u can trick the player into jumping too early or late. In normal levels it could be used great but only for certain songs.
