So you have probably heard of a level called Khorne by Hota1991. It's a 5 minute level with over 1 million objects. Currently it's split into 7 parts to be playable, because GD is not optimized to put together a 1m obj level.
Now this isn't about how RobTop should optimize the game, but rather a thing someone suggested in the comment section of one Khorne video.
So the idea is that you could make something like a gauntlet and put multiple levels in it and the player would have to beat each level in a specific order. Or in map pack style that you can beat them in whatever order you want. A gauntlet wouldn't have the normal gauntlet style with the islands or whatever that's supposed to be, but maybe a list like in map packs or arrows on left and right next to the play button where you can choose the level you want to play. When you complete a rated gauntlet you get a specific amount of orbs or diamonds. The difficulty of the gauntlet will be the average difficulty of all levels inside. A gauntlet would appear like a normal level when searching except that it has a special icon (like the flames for epic). A pack would be limited to a maximum of 10 levels and all levels need to be by the same creator (however collab packs may work as well).
Now that I've talked about how it works let me tell you what we could use it for. One being the Khorne situation. Big levels split into parts so that they are playable. Level series like the AlterGame series to have them in a bundle. Theme packs like the official gauntlets. So you can have a collection of, let's say ice themed levels. Challenge bundles may also be a thing.
I hope you like the idea and I would appreciate feedback and improvements. Will credit the user who inspired me to write this, if I can find the comment again.
