Whenever i pause a level and i get ready to play again it's hard to be ready when your screen is covered by the pause menu. It'd be nice to have an option to have a countdown from 3 to 0 after you hit play to see where you are before you start playing again

I know plenty of other games that do this, and it is REALLY helpful. And it also prevents cheating too (by pausing and unpausing repeatedly), because every time you pause, you'd have to wait three seconds, and no one wants to waste their time doing that.

even so, most of the time (especially in the ship) when you unpause you lose all momentum which is crucial especially in harder demons which require ship momentum (e.g. Acropolis) to be completed

This sounds like a good idea. Hope this could get added, but most likely not. Some people also might not want this because of exploiting the pause feature.

I think it should be optional because it can be time consuming, and I don't really have an issue pausing in the middle of a level. Good idea nonetheless though.

Just like other infinite runners, it gives you more time to prepare.
This is a great idea. But the downside is when you pause too many times, this feature can get annoying.
