For the paintbrush, it would be, well, a paintbrush tool (great explanation I know). You could also adjust the size, color, opacity, shape, etc. of the paintbrush. There could also be different modes, to make a perfectly straight line, perfect curve, etc. This would save a bunch of time compared to making a billion different color channels and having to put a bunch of tiny objects in the places you want colored. There could also be an eraser for the paintbrush.
For the custom polygons, I was thinking there would be a tool in the editor where you could enter a number and it would make a regular polygon with that many sides by default, but you could adjust the angles and side lengths too. This game is called geometry dash after all.
Unlimited zoom is what it sounds like; you should be able to zoom in/out as much as you want (until you can see the pixels well); there's really no reason not to add this. This would work well with the paintbrush because you could make very detailed and intricate designs.
So yeah, how do these sound?
Edit: Oh also another one that's been suggested a billion times but I'm gonna put it here anyways: remove the custom object limit, it's unnecessary, and if it was removed, people could make megacollabs this way (they already do but they have to download a hack that bypasses this limit to do it)

The other ones I don't see a problem with. The main problem with removing the limit though is that people could copy a level, make the entire level into a custom object, create a new level, and put in the custom object and then paste it as their own level. And if the creator wasn't very well known, or if the level was barely seen, people could easily get away with this.

Maybe there could be a place (maybe under the "i" information button) where it says the IDs of all the levels a level got custom objects from, and if you try to copy a level that has those marks, the copied level will retain those marks, so people wouldn't just re-copy the level (if that makes any sense).

i think the paintbrush and stuff is a bad idea, because it would mean that art levels become effortless. look at some insane art in gd and it's really impressive, but it won't be if you use a brush thing

i think the paintbrush and stuff is a bad idea, because it would mean that art levels become effortless. look at some insane art in gd and it's really impressive, but it won't be if you use a brush thing In 1.9, adding multiple designs became effortless. In 2.0, adding colors and flashes became effortless. In 2.1, making complicated effects became effortless. In 2.2, making games within gd will become effortless. That is just how the game evolves, you can always just restrain yourself to the limits of a certain update if you want.
