You can change the location of the task bar to be on the side of the screen if that helps.

What model do you have? I don't know the steps for all computer models.

Assuming you have Windows:

Settings -> Personalization -> (Scroll down to "Taskbar location on screen")

Try opening task manager, going down to windows processes, and restarting Windows Explorer. This usually fixes any small issues with the taskbar not working properly.
