So this is the first time I do this but something I really appreciate is when a comment is a legit criticism, sadly its pretty rare (but thats understandable), so Im seeking for some more criticism now, and I hope this is a great place for that! So here's the level: Don't hesitate to be sincere (good or bad), just seeking for some mighty criticism

As soon as I clicked the link (didn't always have an embedded video) it gave me one of those shitty scams for free gift cards. I am on to you.

So I'm coming out of retirement to judge this level. However I'm working on a YT video so I'm going to make this review short, and since it's an MC, I'll do it differently than normal. And I'm gonna have to make some edits to my Google Slides page. And thank you for not generalizing the fact that everyone's opinions suck. I like you. (also can you send my level ID is 17 5 14 4 0 13 25 0 12 5 22 5 12)Acid Rush II by Serponge & MoreSystem Genre: Normal MegacollaborationCodex:Pros:- I like the way this level opens with Codex's dark part leading into a lighter part later. The flashes create a sort of calm atmosphere, which I think is perfect for this level.
- This is one of those rare times where slow gameplay is massively impressed me. The synchronization with the song is just badass.
- I like the "floating" platforms. The ones that don't touch the ground. It goes well with the level design and doesn't stand out in the wrong way.
- I like the color scheme. The calm blue and green mixture just looks nice. The yellow gravity portal doesn't even look out of place when it honestly should.
- I like the design of the gears, especially the centers.
- I like the custom background with the city theme.
Cons:
- The first lamp honestly looked really cool, but the second one just seemed like Codex didn't have any ideas for what to put here.
- While I like the gear designs, I do think they could stand out a little more.
(G)Jayuff:Pros:- I like the flashing lights in this part. They're just cool to look at.
- The color scheme in this part is slightly better than in Codex's part. I liked seeing more yellow.
Cons:- The synchronization kinda sucks here. The lights could sync with the cymbal and the orbs/jumps/portals could sync better with the high notes.
- I don't like the waterfalls. They're pretty unoriginal, and they don't really look good with the blocks.
- I don't like the block designs. They're fairly unoriginal as well, consisting of default 2.0 decoration, 3D lines, and not really anything else.
- I think the custom background looks sorta weird. It looks like there's three layers of background: front (buildings), middle (glow), back (more buildings). It just looks odd, especially when the screen is darkened.
Dudex:Pros:- I like the color scheme here as well. The different shades of green look nice.
- I like the last few seconds in the "cave" area or something. I love how it hides the background, because I don't like it. It also looks good with the design.
- I like the two seconds in the Cube part. The sync is awesome here, and the block designs are substantially better.
Cons:- I don't like the actual design of this part. The custom background and the decoration seems a little too 1.9-ish, maybe even 1.7-ish, for my tastes. This might just be because I'm harsher on 1.9 levels because I prefer more modern works.
- The gameplay appears to be a lot of straight flying. Nothing too horrible, and it's short, but I still don't like it.
- I think there could be more use of the color pulses. There's only two in this part, and in both, the green pulses to purple for a second, then pulses back. More use could be gotten out of those.
Optical:Pros:- The sync is, yet again, awesome. The orbs help this a lot.
- I like the enormous buildup. You know, how the level starts off calm but then gets awesome. That buildup was cool.
- This orb-based gameplay looks pretty fun. I'm kind of excited to play this part.
- I really like the design of the pipes with the toxic leaking out.
- I think the block designs work surprisingly well with the pipe designs.
Cons:- This time, I don't think the color scheme is very good. This part's colors are all over the place, and they don't blend or mix together well.
- Airdeco-wise, I think this level looks sorta empty. There's not really enough to fill in that unneeded space besides a few...things (idk what they're called) on the blocks, and not even in the air.
Echonox:Pros:- I love the background. The factory silhouette just looks...awesome.
- The block designs are also fairly decent, excluding the color scheme. I like the darkened brick blocks behind the lightened static blocks with glow and decoration.
Cons:- The gameplay just looks bizarre and horrendous, especially with the blocks moving back every now and then. That'll make this part a bitch to play.
- The design of the "toxic" logos looked cool at first, but then they started to become repetitive and unnecessary.
- I can tell there was a little more risk put into the color scheme in this section than the others, but it doesn't look very good. For example, vibrant orange is mixed with dark green in one part.
- The rotating lines are another example of a part that looked cool at first, but overstayed its welcome. It doesn't even sync to the music, which is more of a letdown.
Lumpy:Cons:- Apologies, but I couldn't think of a single pro. I really don't like this part, and I couldn't find anything redeemable about it.
- The design is just a huge mess, especially the custom background. Nothing is cohesive, and it just looks disastrous, even on its own.
- The UFO part has half decent sync, but the sync in the spider parts are not very good.
- The gameplay itself just looks frustrating and annoying, especially in the parts where you must tap quickly.
- Why does this part also have to have a flashlight effect? The one that everyone hates?
- The color scheme is a pure disaster, especially the lava.
ChaSe:Pros:- I love the background. It takes on a lot of different styles and pulls them off well, and still look cohesive. The yellow lights look gorgeous. It's probably my favorite background in the entire level. Weird coming from ChaSe.
- The block designs look similar to Dudex's part in some way, except they're far more detailed.
- I like the design of the apartment building. The window just looks great.
- The color scheme looks great. The green and white blend perfectly, and the few standout colors in the background work fantastically with the foreground colors.
Cons:- I like the design of the tentacle, but it just looks weird and unnecessary. Is the area below the white line supposed to be water or something?
- The last block at the end of ChaSe's part looks pretty empty.
- The synchronization is good, but not great. Some parts don't really work, especially the quick buildup at the end.
- The P1-color arrows could stand out a bit more.
Samoht/Serponge:Pros:- The design: gorgeous. I love the diagonal city design and how it moves, and I also love the alternating backgrounds between the city and the rotating circles.
- I really like the block designs. The silhouettes of factory platforms look incredibly detailed and well-made.
- I like the orb designs. However, I think the circles around the orbs could rotate around the orb itself.
Cons:- The rotating spike wheel at the end looks sort of weird, especially the colors. They could be less blue and more green, and pulse more.
- Obviously, it's really hard to see the gameplay. The background could be less flashy.
- The synchronization isn't all that great. It's decent, but could have less jumps. A lot of the problem is that there are too many jumps rather than not enough.
- I don't like how at the end of this part, the background just stops existing.
Thomartin:Pros:- I like the flashes on the bottom half of the screen here. They remind me a lot of the ones in Gayuff's part.
J - The gameplay looks significantly better than most other parts. It does look slightly easier, but it's fairly consistent.
- I like the fireballs. They surprisingly go well with the level design.
Cons: - I don't like how there's skulls on some of the blocks. They look out of place.
- The background looks way too simple. I do have to give it credit for being cohesive, though.
- There's one yellow orb in the Robot section that doesn't sync well.
- There should be a mandatory jump just before entering the teleportation portal. This is just personal preference.
G4lvatron:Pros:- I think the design looks great. The waterfalls look stunning and the stone blocks look pretty awesome as well.
- The synchronization is surprisingly good. It's hard to sync a UFO and ship part with the music, so that's some extra praise right there.
- The sewer background is not only a genius idea, but it also looks fantastic. It could have more shades of darkness, though.
- The gameplay looks fun and entertaining, with the exception of the ship part.
Cons: - The design on its own looks fantastic, but compared to the rest of the level, it looks incredibly weird. It looks like it belongs in its own video game, which isn't really a bad thing per se, but can be when you compare it to the rest of the level.
- The color scheme isn't very great. The poison looks pretty good, but compared to the stone blocks, they look way too different to be unnoticeable.
Vlacc:Pros:- The design of this part reminds me a lot of Toxin Lab 2. It looks incredibly original, though, and good-looking, especially the flashes.
- The block designs look pretty nice, especially the colors. And I adore the block designs at the end, though they could be more colorful.
- The synchronization is fantastic. The cube part sync perfectly with the music, while the wave part moderately syncs.
- I like the background, and the shapes of the long columns.
Cons: - The cube part looks pretty empty in terms of air decoration.
- I think the gameplay should be faster, considering the speed of the song. Samoht's/Serponge's part did this.
Spu7Nix:Pros:- The synchronization is pretty good in this part, one of the best in the entire level.
- The gameplay itself looks pretty fun.
- Again, I really like the silhouette factory background. It's a little less exciting in this part, but it's still pretty good-looking.
Cons: - The color scheme is good in some parts, but since the background doesn't pulse at all, the block colors can look pretty weird on the dark canvas.
- I like the creativity of using horizontal waterfall blocks as structures, but other than that, I don't think the block designs as a whole are on par.
- In the last part with the trumpet, there should be a 1x speed portal inbetween the 0.5x and the 2x speed portals.
- The air decoration is pretty lacking. There could be a lot more to fill in the empty space.
Kips:Pros:- I like the small circles in the UFO part, which look a lot like vines. I think it would look fantastic if they moved and formed a vine shape, though.
- I like the gameplay. It's pretty energetic for the finale.
- While the block designs could have more detail and slightly less color, I think they look better than most block designs throughout the rest of the level.
- I like the combination of white and green alone without any of the other colors in the mix.
Cons: - I don't like the huge variation of colors. There's green, cyan, pink, purple, white, it's just a lot to take in at once.
- The synchronization, with the exception of the UFO part, is not great.
- Text faces on sawblades? I thought we evolved from that.
- The top/bottom spikes in the UFO part should stand out more. It's too hard to see them, and they would remove more unnecessary negative space.
- There's some parts that look pretty empty. Only a few though, a lot of parts look pretty colorful.
- You can see the fireballs under the UFO part if you look closely at 1:43.
Conclusion:So is this a good level? Yeah. I'd say this level is good overall. There's more impressive parts than poorly-made parts, honestly. Even the parts which had more cons than pros were still high quality, for most of the cons were small things, while the pros were often generalized and paraphrased. However, the subpar parts of the level still bring down the overall quality, and as a result, I don't think this level is worthy of an epic rating. Feature? Maybe. But some parts just don't surprise me enough to embrace the concept of this level being in the Hall of Fame. But the standout parts are of a good enough quality to impress me enough to suggest that the official judges move this to the Feature-Worthy Levels board with a 6/10. @jy2000 or CreativeGuy , feel free to move this. Thank you, Serponge, for putting your level up for judgement on the Geometry Dash Forum, and we hope to see you again very soon. (I had the idea of doing this like a Customer Support type of thing, and it was really cool. Btw I gotta update my Slides page. So yeah I'm insane but whatever, this was fun.)

wall of text approv'ed by danald tramp Well this pretty much sums up my thoughts on the level. The reoccurring issue in some of the parts was these strange color combinations. Also this is just my preference, but to me some of the transitions seems kind of too sudden and blind, although I guess that's to be expected with levels at this difficulty. I'm gonna go ahead and Acid Rush this to the feature worthy section.
