Intro:
You need to follow this tutorial if you are in the same case as me
OR
you have changed you hard disk and you want your stats back
First Step:
If your Windows is corrupted and if you've reinstalled it on another hard disk as I did, you might get some problems
I'm just saying, but I'm on Windows 10, I think this step is a bit more complicated on older version (idk)
And also make sure you old hard disk data IS NOT CORRUPTED (which is the worst case you can have in my situation)
Second Step:
Make sure you can open Steam, the game etc.. and that your stats are really gone. You can load old saves it doesn't matter.
Now you will need to search for your old stats IN YOUR OLD HARD DISK
Make sure you checked this little box (sorry text is in french) :
If the box isn't checked, one very important folder will not show up
Then you will have to follow this path: [OLD HD LETTER]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\GeometryDash
"Utilisateurs" stand for "Users" and noé is my user name on old windows (on old hd)
Third Step:
Here you should find 6 files
Then you will have to do the same as step two but in YOUR NEW HD: C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\GeometryDash
If you've loaded your stats, there will be 4 files.
Then copy the 6 files from you old HD in the folder you just opened.
Final:
Open your game, and it should be fixed !
Why is it doing this:
Because the game seems to save automatically in the C HD, not in the one where the games files are
I hope I helped !

So, I lost all my progress since my previous save (since early December), for no reason
I had an electricity shut down during a Windows update, then my Windows was fucked up, and I had to resintall it on another hard disk.
I've already had that problem in the past, and everything worked well, I haven't had any lost progress
So I open Steam then GMD, and I see that I'm not logged in (which I found strange)
I log in, and I go check my profile and saw that I had the stats from Yesterday, so I was "yay no problem"
But then I go check my level folder and I see that everything was gone, and that in the player customization menu I have nothing
So then I had to load my previous save, and I lost approx. 1000 stars, 40 demons and a lot of level in progess including my part in forum mc4 (but I've uploaded it so it's fine I guess
