If this doesn’t get featured then I’ll be thoroughly surprised. Where this level shines most is with its colours, sync, and gameplay. A monochromatic approach to a lot of block design with flashing colours works very well and I like the colours that you used, particularly when it was flashing between a yellow-gold colour and a pink-purple colour. The sync is also fairly well done. There’s the standard sync where the player’s inputs match the beat of the song and where background flashes match the beat of the song but I thought that making the object lines flash as well was a nice touch that isn’t commonly seen anymore. Lastly, the gameplay is solid. A definite step up from most levels in the featured section nowadays. Most importantly though, the gameplay is clean. It’s easy enough to sight read and the player won’t be left thinking that their death is bs because they had to prepare for a jump off screen or something along those lines. The gameplay and design honestly reminds me of something that Alkali would make. My only real gripe with the level is when slopes are just kinda placed down floating in the air without any real block design to accompany it (you can see this near the end of the level). It’s a very minor nitpick and doesn’t detract from the overall quality of the level.

Ok lets see what i can do...
Gameplay- Well this part of the level is really good. Fun little jumps like in most of the cube parts made this level quite fun for me playing. Also the ramps are just like those in Alkali and Rafer's levels which is a good thing since they are the top of the order when it comes to levels like this. Otherwise maybe just fix up a few annoying ship and ufo bits but besides that extremely good job!
Score for Gameplay- 8/10
Deco- Now for starters this level is not meant to be a full blown over 2.1 level but more of a 1.9 / 2.1 combo. I have to say your deco for this style is genuis! Not too much to overwhelm the player but not too little for level to feel empty. Some things were a little out of place like that background. You have put a bunch of brick towers in the back. I really think you could have done something more with that but still good in deco terms.
Score for Deco- 8/10
Originality- Well most builders in 2.1 these days do not attempt to build this kind of style but you have nailed it. For even attempting this kind of style a lot of things could go wrong but you have made an amazing job out of this. Well done.
Score for Originality- 8/10
Overall great job at attempting an original design and also for nailing it. Just take in a few things i have said into your next levels and maybe you could get a feature in the future. Great job.
Overall score- 24/30
Category it should be put in- This is a hard one since it is definitely better than a good but i am not too sure about feature worthy. I will leave this one to the level judges.
