Hello. I've been having an issue lately with GD that I have to fix.
GD has run perfectly fine for me all the time, but yesterday when I attempted to stream Stalemate, after a few seconds the game started lagging.
I believe this is a GD related issue, because I have tried this with other games and they seem to work perfectly fine with OBS. I also used my regular stream and recording OBS settings that I never changed.
If OBS is even open, the game will lag, and exactly what happens shows up in a recording.
Does anybody know how to fix this? I won't be able to record hard demons until I fix it.
Tried: Enabling and disabling certain settings in GD Updating OBS Uninstalling and reinstalling GD Different OBS settings
EDIT: GD has become overall more laggy. It's laggier than it was yesterday without OBS open.

What are your system specs? It's possible that driver updates or something may have broken the game, in which case you might need to rollback. If I know your specs I can probably elaborate more
If not, try setting these options in OBS (I'm using Studio so it might be different for you): - Under Output, set the Profile to "main" - Also in Output, set the Encoder to NVENC H.264 - Make sure the FPS value in Video is set to 30 or lower - In Advanced, make sure the Process Priority is "Normal" unless you know you have a good enough cpu in which case try "High"

I think it may actually be a driver issue, especially since you said that GD lags even when not recording now. Definitely try rolling back some drivers, or just uninstalling any updates you may have installed in the past week or so. If that doesn't work, then I'm a little stumped. I'll have a think about it.

I'm not the most techy person so how does one roll back a driver or uninstall updates?
