I'm using 60hz monitor and have been trying to personally change my refresh rate to 75hz (as most 60hz monitors are capable). I already changed the refresh rate in the Nvidia control panel, yet can't seem to get geometry dash to go above 60. I tried turning v-sync on and off and going windows and full screen.

I’m pretty sure Geometry Dash can only be played up till your monitors refresh rate. Any attempt to raise it has been known to cause problems.
I’m not 100% sure about this though so I may be wrong.

I’m not 100% sure about this though so I may be wrong. almost all 60hz monitors support 75hz so changing it in windows should (in theory) be the same as having a 75hz monitor. Edit: got it working  |
