I am trying to replicate something similar to what happens in geometrical dominate when you touch a button/trigger to open a gate and a laser hits the gate I can make triggers open the gate but I would like to add something that looks like electricity hitting the laser gate. Check my level for more info (LOOK AT THE WHOLE LEVEL) Plz Help! Level ID: 40493781

What you first wanna do is place the electricity where you want it and set it to a group, let's call this group A. You want to place an alpha trigger right at the beginning of the level which turns group A invisible, and put another alpha trigger on the button set to touch triggered that makes group A fully visible. You then will likely want to make it fade away, so you should put a spawn trigger on the button as well set to touch triggered and have it spawn a new group, which I'll call B, at a small delay. You then put another alpha trigger wherever you want and set it to group B and have it fade out group A over some time. Hope this helps!

Just one problem;how do I get the final alpha trigger (set to B) have A fade away?? You want to set it to group B through edit group, then you can have it affect group A through edit object.
