ookay
so GD, for some odd reason, will drop frames during gameplay that isn't difficult to run for my CPU and GPU.
I'll be playing Sonic Wave, and it will drop below 60 despite when I check Task Manager, there's >50% of my CPU and GPU each up for grabs and GD is using ~3-7%
it gets much much worse when I record, yet the same phenomenon happens, with most of my CPU and GPU not being utilised and GD using ~7%
is there some kind of CPU limiter or something? help??
I have tried: all the combinations of smooth fix / vsync setting GD to high priority in task manager verifying game integrity uninstalling and reinstalling the game

I thing I try that usually works for all of my problems is exiting fullscreen. No idea why, but this ALWAYS works for me. You might be able to expand the window to barely reach the corners as well.

Yup, changing between fullscreen/windowed usually solves any random lag problems I have, it usually fixes itself after a while too so I can go back to the one I like more.
