Why would there be one main game and one free version with different levels but less content altogether when there can be one main game and about 4 free versions, but still with less content altogether?
Reason is because of money from ads, but I'm not complaining at all.

Like what people have been saying, I hope this is just an update to GD Meltdown (AFTER 2 FREAKING YEARS), and we still have the Meltdown levels along with the SubZero levels.
Also once this comes out there's gonna be a lot of levels that get featured because of this lol

This makes me mad for the sole purpose that RobTop is trying to avoid working on 2.2. Creating this game is highly unnecessary, primarily because of the fact that RobTop already three free GD-based games (Lite, Meltdown, and World). Working on another game is not necessary since the three free apps and the publicity of the already lured in many players, such as me. This game is pointless, and it's only going to delay the process of 2.2 coming out, which means people will quit of boredom and the game will continue to die. The 2.2 update is starting to get aggravating because RobTop is already working quite slowly ("how bout u try to make gd gaem jaja" response coming), and this new game will certainly delay it more. I know this has been said so many times, but RobTop needs to make smaller, more frequent updates. It's going to make the community happier.
Not to mention that the levels will be extremely easy. Most GD players probably won't even download it because of its [assumed] low difficulty.
*Third edit: Couldn't he also just update GD World?*

ads give more money on december because christmas and stuff and if you haven't noticed by now rob has released all 3 trash free games on december of each year so yeah moneymoney

Why is he working on making a new game entirely when I CANT EVEN GET THE ICONS FROM GD MELTDOWN AND GD WORLD ONTO THE MAIN GAME?!!?!?!
I mean I can't exactly say no to new official levels, but come on.

There's no reason for this game to exist. RobTop said in a stream chat that he DIDN'T EVEN KNOW that players couldn't transfer Meltdown icons to 2.1 (which has been out for nearly a year now) and now he's making another game...he can barely handle the game as is, this will just cause more problems.
