This is just a blatant cash grab by RobTop. This will be the fourth free version of GD and it'll be just as pointless and obsolete as Meltdown and World. I'm disappointed that RobTop chooses to waste his time on these frankly crap excuses of games.
It's obvious these games are made for a quick buck because:
1. Rob hasn't even integrated World into the main game which he promised, this shows his lack of care about these games
2. World was so broken and insecure that people used it to get spoilers for 2.1, this shows he didn't spend time to cover the 2.1 content or to bug fix.
3. He releases one of these crud free games every year and then just proceeds to neglect all the prior games, this highlights that these games aren't designed for longevity in anyway, just for short term relevancy.
The worst part about these games is that they slow development of the main games updates which is very disrespectful to the community and even if unintentional, it makes Rob come off as really apathetic. I'd like to think there is another reason for these games to exist but I think it's pretty clear that Rob is just milking the cash cow.

As if updating Meltdown or World wouldn't give RobTop enough money.
Rob has been becoming a lot like Scott Cawthon lately:
- Makes shit up as they go
- Only releases content for one of their franchises while abandoning all others, not like that says much though
- Don't like to have more people help
them run it
Only difference is at least Cawthon tries.

Unlike some people, this new game wont bother me at all, I can just play with no Wi-Fi to have no ads, and 3 or 4 new levels is not anything to complain about.
In fact, I enjoy robtops level so there really is no downside to this.

The downside is that this will cause 2.2 to be delayed even more since RobTop has to spend (and/or waste depending on who you ask) time making GD Subzero. |

I find this rather interesting but imo Rob should be spending his time on 2.2 and waiting until it is finished before moving on to making another expansion if there should be another expansion at all. If he just wants to work on all his other games then he should just swallow any pride and arrogance he has from single-handedly developing all these games and get himself a team to work on the main game if he wants to do something else, or if he just feels the need for a break. Rob just mainly needs to understand that he simply can't simultaneously work on these thing at once - he needs some help if he wants to make more expansions at all. But back to Subzero.
The icons on the teaser image look decent and I'm a bit hyped for this but will only be completely satisfied if I can actually do something in the game besides complete the levels - otherwise the game'll be sitting, useless, on my desktop taking up memory, which Rob's other 2 expansions are doing as well.
