Hello everyone,
some of you guys know me as a "completionist". I don't care if user coins are hard or easy to get, I just want to collect every user coin.
I go to practice mode to learn the layout of the level (oh really...) and find out that user coins are not collectible in this mode.
There are levels with "hidden" coins which is really annoying if you want to collect them being in practice mode. They won't show up, so you have to go copy this level and go to level editor to find the place of the coin(s). Other way is to ask the creator to tell you the places where the coins are. There are more ways of how to find out the user coins but the easiest way would be to find them while practicing. This is, so far, not possible.
Can Robtop add this feature in 2.2???

Do you mean...
a) It shows you getting the coins, but you don't gain them? This would be pointless.
b) You can collect coins and they count towards your total coins? I would be completely against this. You would be able to farm coins way too easily.

You would be able to farm coins way too easily. a) It would actually be really helpful, because some assholes make their coins invisible, so this could help the player know whether they collect it or not instead of wasting time looking it up. Even visible coins, it would help if you could see if you get it. b) Ofc not, I agree with you on that lol |

To the others: I don't get b). What do you mean? He means that you should be able to get user coins from playing a level in practice mode which would make farming much easier. |

Coins should become bronze in practice mode but can be collectible

In all honesty, the current system is the best.
If the person who made the level made his coin invisible, itβs obvious he wants you to find it yourself during a normal mode run. Having the βcollectionβ animation play while collecting a coin in practise mode would completely ruin the intended element of surprise.
Everything has been said for the second interpretation so Iβll leave that.

Do you mean you shouldnβt just go through them? I agree there should be that animation but it shouldnβt make farming coins easier.
