I have a problem where people always make useless off topic posts in my thread complaining about me posting for increase my post count, when I'm not. These people always ignore what I'm actually saying and often it's them who post for post count.
BUT I want to prove I'm not posting for post count, by not having a post count. With that, I can not be accused of it because I don't have it.
Is there anyway you can lock my post count at 0, or remove it? Thanks. -DK

Threads in the Nonsense Lounge = No posts added to your post count, so just make your threads in the NL if you don't want anyone to be upset. And from my experience of making a forum once, I don't think there's any way to tamper with the post count of users. Apparently, Lockstep claims that staff can lower your post count, so I can very much be wrong.
And you clearly are making these threads for the extra posts. "Menstruating females", for example. Like, no one wants to know that your sister (or whoever) is on their period. :/

If I post it in the nonsense lounge, that's asking for people to take it as joke! That defeats the whole purpose of what I am trying to happen 2. (Because you decided to bring up) I'm NOT making threads for extra posts. The thread was for asking for help with dealing with my sister! I don't care if you don't want to know, there's lots of things I don't want to know about, but people still post! Just because you don't care about a topic that doesn't mean I can't post about it. Please be more tolerant If you didn't want to/couldn't help, then you didn't have to. Obviously other people were interested and decided to give me advice. Also sorry if I sound mad! Please don't get offended?

Please don't get offended? Alright fine, you're right about the second one. But that was just an example. Out of the ten-ish threads you have made, you had to have had at least one that was a post farming, since you made Lockstep go over the edge. And if you want serious answers, alright. But only post serious questions. The menstruating females thing is a serious question, sure, and sorry for presenting a bad example. But the post rant and the discussion about GD's history are irrelevant and unnecessary threads that do nothing but increase that number. I think your problem was how quickly you made the threads, for the most part.

I spent a lot of time writing that and it has a very serious point. Unfortunately many people use that thread to post farm, but I can't do anything about them! Also the one about GD history, I could have put more effort into that you're right. I should have backed up my answers to my questions, but it's still not made to post farm. It's made to have a discussion...

I don’t really know if a staff can remove or lock post count. I only know they can change it. And they only do this on people who post farm or break the rules or something. I’ve never really seen them change people’s count by request, but you never know.

Yes, the staff can change your post count but I don't think they can make posts stop counting for one user. This is an extreme solution to a simple problem, just ignore those people and always have the SERIOUS tag in your threads.

regarding that shit about your sister on her period you should've either checked yahoo answers, wikihow or r/advice, GDForum really isn't the right platform for it. yes I get that the lounge is for non-GD threads but this forum isn't a place where you'll necessarily get good answers to your question. sometimes it takes this thing called COMMON SENSE

simply put, i;m not removing anyones post count completely, why?
because you want to prove that you're not post farming right? well having your post count removed means in the first place you think something is wrong with your post count. if you did nothing wrong, then why would you ask?
if i'm honest, you're guilty of making "petty" threads, like the one about periods, it had no serious tag. WHY would you not put a serious tag on a thread like that.
tl;dr don't look for an easy way out, just post normally and make threads about interesting topics using a serious tag when appropriate.

Does this count as resolved then since you aren't going to remove it and other staff members likely have the same opinion?
