I read Katsu's previous guide on how to use any song on an Android phone, so I thought I'd write one for iOS as well 
This will only work if you're jailbroken, as that is the only way you can view the files of your phone. So sadly this only works on 10.2.1 and under.
Step 1:
Open Cydia, and on the home page scroll down to the guide "Copying Files To/From Device". There will be links to many useful Cydia packages, however the only one you need to install is "iFile".
Step 2:
You want to download the song you want to use beforehand onto an app like iFile Organizer or Mega. iFile Organizer has a built in browser; I just go to a youtube to MP3 site, convert a video, and download it. Make sure it is not downloaded onto a cloud service, but onto the app itself.
Step 3:
Open iFile, and navigate to the directory /var/mobile/containers/data/application. This is the tedious part, as all the app names will be encrypted. You want to search for Geometry Dash and the app you downloaded the song to. Just guess and check every file by heading into the "Documents" folder within. Geometry Dash will have song files here as well as .dat files. The app you downloaded the song to should have the file appear here.
Step 4:
When you have located both apps, write down what their name was for future ease. Click on "Edit" in the top left corner, select the song file you downloaded, and tap the button on the bottom right to copy it. Now navigate to the Documents folder within Geometry Dash and paste the song there.
Step 5:
Click on the little "i" next to the file. Rename it to a valid Newgrounds ID, and make sure the file has permissions to read and write. When you open Geometry Dash and search for this ID, it will fetch this song file. Done =)
