It's my 5th official level and my best level so far. I made it a few months back but i'm just wondering if you think there could be any improvements to the level. I'm not confident with some parts looking rushed, poorly used effects and a rather unusual game play. It's not determined by the letters.For more information on the exact rating system, go to this page.GameplayGeneral My main problem that I have with the gameplay is the bugs. They're not awful bugs, but there are a few exploits every now and then in the level. I'll show you the ones I could find in a minute. The gameplay is really fast-paced and a little bit on the irritating side of the spectrum. The gameplay as a whole just feels untested and at the speed where it's so fast that it's just plain unenjoyable. The overall rating of the Gameplay is U.
High Points
- (Video): 0:14 - 0:17: This mini Ship part isn't all that bad. It's actually a pretty fun part of the level. However, it's still kind of hard to understand where to go because of the colors, and that's what's keeping this section from getting an F. S
- (Video) 0:21 - 0:27: This Cube-Robot part is pretty buggy. First of all, it's possible to hit the second green orb (the one with the X under it) without crashing. In fact, in my Practice run of this level, this is how I completed the level. Second, the split path is very hard to decipher. It's extremely confusing. It seems like the kind of gameplay from a 1.9 demon. The Ship-Ball part isn't any prize either. U
- (Video) 0:41 - 0:56: This rainbow part seems incredibly slow for a drop. Also, the mini ship part just seems more like a Wave part, and it would definitely work better as one. The rest of the gameplay isn't exactly cancerous except for the final Robot section, but I do think this part of the gameplay is alright. It's not very fun, but it's not all that bad either. Best part of the gameplay, for sure. S
TransitionsGeneral The transitions are actually really annoying in this level as a whole. Of course there are some good transitions in there, but overall, they are just a pain. U
High Points
- (Video): 0:11 - 0:12: I didn't think this part would be too much of a problem, and surprisingly, it wasn't. I had my doubts here, but overall, I think this transition is good enough for an S. S
- (Video) 0:20: This transition is pretty bad. It's impossible to see anything. This one is just really fast and next to impossible to react to, nothing more to say. U
- (Video) 0:39 - 0:42: This part is another issue. The dark part isn't bad, but getting into the Dual Ship part is just a pain to have to do. U
SynchronizationGeneral The sync is not very great overall, but I did find it decent. There was a very clear attempt at it, and that's what I really care about. As long as there is an effort, you'll probably get an S from me in this category. So you did. S
High Points
- (Video) 0:00 - 0:12: The sync here isn't great, but there was clear attempt at it, and it's not bad either. The only thing is this part relies a lot more on orbs for sync and a lot less on jumping, even though this is a Cube-Robot part. S
- (Video) 0:21 - 0:39: Again, the sync isn't great, but it still is good enough to work. Also, the sync still relies way too much on orbs instead of jumps or gravity switches (Ball). S
- (Video) 0:44 - 0:50: This part is a lot more lacking in sync. The only parts here that sync are the decoration and the portals, but the actual gameplay doesn't sync to the song at all. Even with that, some of the decoration lags behind. U
ColorsGeneral The colors as a whole are really messy. I understand the rainbow theme, but I really find this level to be overly colorful and flashy. Some parts don't work well, and other parts don't even fall under the rainbow category. U
High Points
- (Video) 0:00 - 0:12: This part is really sloppy in terms of colors. It's just really over-the-top in colors and tries to appeal to everything, but it doesn't do that very well. My best advice is to remove all of the yellow, because it looks extremely bright, and the green background should flash with the blocks. U
- (Video) 0:14 - 0:18: This part is really nice. I love the white with the color changes in the background. I really think this singular Ship section was worthy of its own bullet point. I absolutely love the translucent turquoise color. F
- (Video) 0:20 - 0:39: I think this part was a real missed opportunity. The colors could have corresponded with the color of the portal. Ball, UFO, Robot, Cube, Wave, (remove the dark blue part), Spider, Ship. As for the actual colors, they do seem messy in some parts, like Red and Pink, but they are a lot better in other parts, like Cyan and Green. Not bad overall, but not great either. S
DecorationGeneral The decoration seems, overall, very plastered and randomized in some places, but very well placed in others. However, I think the bad outweighs the good. U
High Points- (Video) 0:14 - 0:18: I love this part. This is easily the best part of the level as a whole, and I just love it. The decoration is just...really nice here. I love the hexagons and the reflection at the bottom of the screen. The background is really nice, but I feel like there could be more added to it. F
- (Video) 0:21 - 0:40: Some parts feel really empty, like the Orange part, but there are other parts I really like, especially the Cyan part and maybe even the Pink part. The Red and Purple parts are pretty messy, and the remaining parts are just...okay. S
- (Video) 0:50 - 0:57: I don't really mind this part too much, but I do think it just looks very weird. The decoration just seems randomized here, and there's just too much to take in all at once. But I don't think this part is that bad. U
EffectsGeneral The effects include the backgrounds and usage of the triggers. The way does them is actually pretty weak. There were a lot of triggers used in this level compared to the number of objects, but I just don't think they were used to their potential. It's kind of a mess. U
High Points - (Video) 0:00 - 0:12: The background looks unfinished to me. The colors are a bit weird to look at, and the rainbows are a lot to take in. I think instead of flashes, Alpha triggers could be put in place, because it would make everything disappear instead of just the static blocks. This could also be done on the yellow spikes on the ground. U
- (Video) 0:36 - 0:39: This Pink part probably stands out the least out of all of the other parts because of its simplicity. However, I do like some of the effects used here. I like the background, and I like the black borders. A missed opportunity I found was the background lines could have moved toward the top left, but really slowly. Frontline Full by God Of Music does this, and I think it's done very well there. Other than that, this part of the level was really good. S
- (Video) 0:42 - 0:50: I love how the background changes after each flash. I especially love the transition from Ball to Wave here, but I think it could have been done with different easing. Some of the backgrounds look kind of weird, like the one in the Wave section, but I think this portion of the level has enough to enjoy for me to give it an S. Barely, though. S
Final ScoreNeeds Improvement: This level does some things well, but I think it has a lot more lows than highs. It does look good in some parts, but the less impressive parts overpower the parts I really like. I think this level's main point of improvement is the gameplay, but the decoration could also use some work. This level has the potential to be better, so I hope you take the chance to improve.

Hey Joltik, thank you so much for the reply. I fully understand what you have said about my level and for what needs improvements. To be honest, i think it was quite a long shot since it was a very messy and incredibly fast paced level. It is one of my first levels to use such an excessive amount of background effects and to make these effects which i do not feel that experienced with the editor at the moment. I think it's best i just flag this level for now and work on making other levels with simpler gameplay and less effects until i feel like i can work on it again. Once again, i thank you for your feedback and that i'll use it for future levels so that i know what to improve on.
